Covid-19 Update - As of 9/11/21
Hello Parents,
Monday starts the new dance year and we want to let you know that we will continue to take precautions regarding the rise in COVID-19.
With an abundance of caution, we request that parents drop off their dancers and wait in their cars.
This will be in effect until the CDC, Pa Health Department or Governor Wolf publishes new guide lines.
We will continue to supply the Sanitation Station on the table at the front door. It will have hand sanitizer also child and adult face masks for those in need of one.
The PA Department of Health issued is published on the web
It was issued on August 31, 2021.
The Order applies to everyone indoors at K-12 public schools including brick and mortar and cyber charter schools, private and parochial schools, career and technical centers (CTCs), and intermediate units (IUs). The order also applies to early learning programs and child care providers for children ages 2 and older, as recommended by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
The order outlines the situations when a mask must be worn and includes limited exceptions to the face-covering requirement. The order does not apply to school sports or outdoor activities.
The Exceptions from the order are as follows;
Section 3: Exceptions to Covering Requirement
F. When the individual is under two (2) years of age.
G. When an individual is:
(1) Engaged in an activity that cannot be performed while wearing a mask, such as eating and drinking, or playing an instrument that would be obstructed by the face covering; or
(2) Participating in high intensity aerobic or anaerobic activities, including during a physical education class in a well-ventilated location and able to maintain a physical distance of six feet from all other individuals.
